My Mission

To gain the knowledge and experience necessary to become a leader in the field of eLearning.

A Little Bit About Me

My name is Joe Novosel (pronounced Nova-sell). I was born at Strategic Air Command Headquarters at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue Nebraska. During my early years, I lived in Japan. Upon returning to the states, I lived in New York and California (both Southern and Northern). My biggest interests are cars, electronics, auto racing, music, movies and anything where I can go fast. All through my school years I was involved in musical groups, performing in jazz and symphonic bands, choirs and musicals. I marched in different groups too and was a champion drum major. However, my biggest musical achievement was winning three world championships with a youth group called the Concord Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps.

Drum Corps has roots extending back to the days before the American Revolution. Today, corps compete internationally – and top corps (such as the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Cadets of Bergen County and Rosemont Cavaliers) perform at levels college bands can’t approach. Each corps has its own style; the BD are a visual and auditory jazz symphony. You have to see it to understand. A corps’ music, marching and color guard performance levels at a DCI (Drum Corps International) championship show are unbelievable. A spin-off of drum corps is a Tony and Emmy award-winning production called 'Blast'. My music teacher and Blue Devils musical direct Wayne Downey is a co-creator of Blast. See it when it comes to your town.
